Mississauga is one of Canada's largest and most complete cities — a place where you can live by the lake in Port Credit, raise a family in Erin Mills or Meadowvale, work downtown and be home for dinner, or run a business minutes from Pearson Airport. The QEW, 401, 403 and 407 cross the city, three GO lines serve it (Lakeshore West, Milton and Kitchener lines), and the Hurontario LRT will soon add a fast north–south spine from Port Credit to the city centre.
That variety is Mississauga's strength. It is also why street-by-street knowledge matters here: a condo by Square One, a Lorne Park estate and a Meadowvale townhome are three different markets wearing one city's name. Whether you are buying your first Mississauga home or selling the one you are in, this page is your starting point — and I am your local guide.
Port Credit — Mississauga's village on the lake: a marina, waterfront trails, cafés and restaurants along Lakeshore Road, and a GO station that puts Union Station about 25 minutes away. Condos, townhomes and character houses — some of the most loved (and most competitive) real estate in the city.
Lorne Park & Clarkson — Tree-lined streets, top-ranked schools and some of Mississauga's finest homes, from renovated bungalows to custom builds on generous lots. Clarkson Village adds shops, dining and its own GO station.
Streetsville — The "Village in the City" along Queen Street: heritage main street, festivals, the Credit River, and family homes with real community feel — plus Streetsville GO for commuters.
Erin Mills, Churchill Meadows & Lisgar — West-Mississauga family country: newer detached homes and townhomes, strong schools, Credit Valley Hospital, and quick access to the 403 and 407. A first choice for move-up buyers who want space without leaving the city.
Meadowvale — Established, green and practical: Lake Aquitaine, townhome complexes and detached homes at prices that still make sense, with Meadowvale GO and the 401 close by. One of the best value stories in Mississauga.
City Centre (Square One) — Condo living at the heart of it all: Square One shopping, Celebration Square, the Living Arts Centre and Sheridan College, with the Hurontario LRT coming to its door. The entry point for many first-time buyers and investors.
Cooksville, Dixie & Applewood — Central, diverse and connected: post-war bungalows, family semis and high-rise condos along the Dundas and Hurontario corridors, Cooksville GO, and prices that reward buyers who know which streets to watch.
Malton — Mississauga's north-east corner by Pearson Airport: affordable detached homes and semis, strong rental demand, and a community with deep roots — popular with first-time buyers and investors alike.
Lakeview — The city's next waterfront chapter: the Lakeview Village development is transforming the old industrial shoreline into a new lakefront community — worth watching if you buy for the future.
Mississauga's market in the fall of 2026 is balanced and selective. September saw sales ease about 6% from a year earlier, new listings down roughly 20%, a benchmark price (HPI) around $903,600 and about five months of inventory — which means prepared buyers have real choice and negotiating room, while the best-priced homes in the best pockets still move quickly. A pre-approval in hand and a local agent watching your target neighbourhoods daily makes the difference. Start with the current listings on this page, then talk to me about what has actually sold on the streets you are considering — and what a fair offer looks like there.
In a market with five months of inventory, buyers compare hard — and pricing and presentation decide who gets the showings. A staged, well-photographed home priced from real neighbourhood data will outperform a "test the market" list price every time. I sell in Mississauga, Milton, Oakville and across the GTA, and I will tell you honestly what your home is worth, what to fix (and what to skip) before listing, and exactly how I will market it to the buyers already searching your neighbourhood.

I am Tamer Youssef, a Sales Representative with RE/MAX West Realty Inc. and more than 16 years of real estate experience across Mississauga, Milton, Oakville and the wider GTA. My background as an architect and certified home inspector means I see the house behind the staging — structure, systems and the details that protect you at offer time. My clients get straight answers on price, a marketing plan built for how buyers actually search today, and an agent who answers his own phone. I work in English and Arabic.
